3.3 Automatic Deskew
The Automatic Deskew feature corrects images that are tilted or misaligned during scanning, photographing, or importing. Deskewing automatically detects the skew angle and straightens the image for optimal readability and presentation.
This feature is especially useful for scanned documents, receipts, books, forms, and photographs where the content may appear slightly rotated.

4. Recognition Mode
The Recognition Mode allows you to control how text recognition is performed on scanned images or documents. Depending on your needs, you can apply OCR to the entire page or to a selected portion (area) of the image. This flexibility ensures greater accuracy, saves processing time, and helps you focus on the exact text you need to extract.
There are two available recognition modes:
1. Page Mode
OCR is applied to the entire page.
All visible text within the scanned image will be processed and converted into editable or searchable text.
Recommended for documents where all the text is relevant and needs to be captured (e.g., reports, contracts, or scanned articles).
2. Area Mode
OCR is applied only to a selected region of the image.
The user manually defines a rectangular area on the page where text should be recognized.
Useful when only a small section of the page is needed, such as a paragraph, table, or label.
Reduces unnecessary recognition of irrelevant parts of the image.
For Area Mode, users must change Left-Mouse Button Mode to Area Selection
And use your mouse or touchpad to draw a rectangular selection around the desired text region.
5. OCR Language
When choosing a language, you can select from different quality options — Fast, Standard, and Best — which offer a trade-off between processing speed and accuracy.
You can also use second language at once for documents containing more than one language (optional).
Our OCR software handles 125 languages across diverse
